From the Hybrid 155 system in the Jogger to the innovative Hybrid-G 150 4x4 configuration in the Duster and Bigster, the portfolio reflects a strategic move toward diversified propulsion solutions. Alongside new LPG technology and stronger electric variants for the Spring, the 2026 lineup integrates advanced transmissions and improved energy management systems.

Hybrid 155 System Introduced in Jogger

The Hybrid 155 system forms a central pillar of Dacia 2026 upgrades, debuting in the Jogger with enhanced performance and electrified efficiency.

Powertrain Configuration and Output

The Hybrid 155 system combines a 1.8L gasoline engine with two electric motors and a 1.4 kWh battery pack. An automatic electric gearbox without a clutch manages power delivery. The integrated setup produces 155 hp and 170 Nm of torque, offering balanced responsiveness and fuel optimization for family-oriented mobility.

New 1.2L Turbo LPG Engine Across Core Models

As part of Dacia 2026 upgrades, Sandero, Sandero Stepway, and Jogger models receive a new 1.2L turbo LPG engine designed to improve range and flexibility.

Performance and Transmission Enhancements

The 1.2L turbo LPG engine is a three-cylinder unit delivering 120 hp. It supports LPG operation and is available with both a manual transmission and a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. For the first time, steering-wheel paddles are integrated with the dual-clutch configuration, enhancing driver engagement and control.

The LPG range increases by 20 percent, significantly extending driving capability. Combined ranges reach up to 1,590 km for Sandero, 1,480 km for Stepway, and 1,450 km for Jogger, reinforcing cost-efficient long-distance usability.

Hybrid-G 150 4x4 for Duster and Bigster

Dacia 2026 upgrades also introduce the Hybrid-G 150 4x4 system for Duster and Bigster, combining hybrid technology, LPG compatibility, and all-wheel drive.

World-First Hybrid 4x4 Integration

The Hybrid-G 150 4x4 produces 154 hp and integrates a mild-hybrid gasoline engine at the front axle with an electric motor at the rear. This configuration enables electric-only operation in certain driving conditions while maintaining off-road capability. A dual-clutch automatic transmission with steering paddles supports seamless torque distribution and optimized traction.

Spring Electric Gains More Power

Electric mobility is further strengthened under Dacia 2026 upgrades with improvements to the Spring model.

New Motor Options and Battery Upgrade

The Spring now offers two stronger electric motor variants rated at 70 hp and 100 hp, replacing earlier lower-output options. A new 24.3 kWh battery based on lithium-iron-phosphate chemistry enhances efficiency and durability. Despite the upgraded drivetrain and battery system, the driving range remains at 225 km, ensuring consistency in urban usability.
