CaoCao Robotaxi Deployment Plan Targets 100,000 Driverless Vehicles by 2030

On January 22, CaoCao Inc. revealed its CaoCao Robotaxi deployment roadmap, setting a target to roll out 100,000 fully customized Robotaxis by 2030. The strategy focuses on achieving comprehensive worldwide commercialization, positioning autonomous taxi services as a scalable mobility solution aligned with long-term urban transport demand.

To support the large-scale rollout, CaoCao Inc. has already initiated a Robotaxi 2.0 pilot program. This phase enables a gradual shift from safety officer-supervised driving to fully driverless operations, allowing the company to validate system reliability while maintaining operational continuity.

Blended operational model for commercialization

The current pilot explores a hybrid operating structure that combines manned and driverless Robotaxis. This mixed model is designed to:

Alongside domestic pilots, CaoCao Inc. is accelerating global collaboration to strengthen its autonomous mobility ecosystem. The company signed a memorandum of understanding with the Abu Dhabi Investment Office for establishing a local office and operating center in 2026, reinforcing its overseas presence.
