TVS King Kargo HD CNG Launched for Last-Mile Cargo Operations in India

On February 5, TVS Motor Company announced the launch of the TVS King Kargo HD CNG in India, priced at INR 270,648. The rollout will take place in a phased manner, addressing the rising demand for efficient and cleaner last-mile cargo solutions across urban and semi-urban markets.

TVS King Kargo HD CNG powertrain and performance

The TVS King Kargo HD CNG is powered by a 301.1 cc liquid-cooled engine developed for commercial duty cycles. It produces 9.1 kW of power and 22.4 Nm of torque, balancing load-carrying capability with fuel efficiency essential for daily logistics operations.

Key performance parameters

The cargo three wheeler offers a claimed top speed of 62 km/h, making it suitable for city distribution routes. A ground clearance of 235 mm supports operation on uneven roads, while a turning radius of 3,420 mm improves maneuverability in congested delivery zones.

Design features and cargo-focused configuration

Designed specifically for last-mile cargo applications, the TVS King Kargo HD CNG comes with a 6.6 ft load deck that supports varied payload requirements. Fully rolling windows enhance driver comfort, while the “power gear” function aids drivability under load. The vehicle is equipped with a leaf spring suspension, tuned to handle frequent stop-and-go usage and varying cargo weights. This configuration positions the model as a practical solution for businesses operating in dense urban areas as well as expanding semi-urban logistics corridors.
