Toyota Hilux 2026 pricing and market positioning

The new pickup is priced from VND 632 million and is imported as a complete unit from Thailand. Toyota Vietnam aims to strengthen Hilux’s presence in the competitive midsize pickup segment by offering a balance of durability, daily usability, and modern driving features across all variants.

Design evolution and chassis upgrades

The Toyota Hilux 2026 adopts a “Cyber Sumo” design language, giving it a more muscular and assertive front profile. This updated styling reinforces the model’s rugged image while maintaining its functional pickup proportions.

Wheel options and structural improvements

The Pro variant now features 17-inch matte black wheels, while the Trailhunter is equipped with larger 18-inch wheels. Underneath, the chassis has been comprehensively revised with improved suspension tuning, increased body rigidity, and reinforced steering axles to enhance stability, handling precision, and overall ride comfort.

Powertrain and driving technologies

All variants are powered by a 2.8L engine, ensuring consistent performance across the range. For the first time, the Trailhunter variant introduces electric power steering, improving fuel efficiency and steering response. The Hilux also debuts Multi-Terrain Select, allowing optimized traction control across varying road and off-road surfaces, reinforcing its versatility in real-world conditions.
