On January 26, HIMA Shangjie H5 deliveries reached a new benchmark as Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance confirmed cumulative deliveries have exceeded 30,000 units. The pace of growth has accelerated sharply, with the jump from 20,000 to 30,000 units achieved in just over one month.
The 20,000th Shangjie H5 was delivered on December 9, 2025, underlining rising consumer demand for the model. This rapid volume expansion positions the vehicle as one of the faster-scaling new-energy SUVs in its segment since launch.
Market Positioning of the Shangjie H5
Launched on September 23, 2025, the Shangjie H5 is the first model under HIMA’s “fifth realm,” Shangjie. Positioned as a mid-size SUV, it entered the market with a price range of 159,800 to 199,800 yuan, targeting technology-focused urban buyers.
Built on the SAIC Roewe ES39 architecture and SAIC’s Nebula EV platform, the model integrates Huawei’s smart cockpit and intelligent driving technologies, forming the core of its value proposition in the competitive electric SUV market.
Intelligent Driving and Vehicle Dimensions
The Shangjie H5 measures 4,780 mm in length, 1,910 mm in width, and 1,664 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,840 mm. It is equipped with a 192-line lidar and 4D imaging radar, operating on the HUAWEI ADS 4 driver assistance system.

  • Ya Chuan Cyan
  • Ceramic White
  • Moon Rock Gray
  • Gilded Black

Powertrain and Range Options
The Shangjie H5 offers both pure-electric and extended-range variants. The pure-electric version features a rear-mounted single motor with outputs of 150 kW or 180 kW, paired with either a 64.6 kWh LFP battery or an 80 kWh ternary lithium battery.
CLTC-rated ranges include:
  • 525 km and 535 km
  • 640 km and 655 km
The extended-range variant uses SAIC’s DMH 1.5L range extender engine with a 32.6 kWh battery, delivering a CLTC pure-electric range of 235 km.
Future Product Expansion Plans
Separately, SAIC Motor President Jia Jianxu previously revealed that Shangjie is expected to introduce at least two additional models in 2026. These upcoming vehicles are planned as design flagships within the HIMA lineup, further expanding the brand’s presence in China’s intelligent electric vehicle market.
