Maruti Suzuki closed 2025 with sales of 17.86 lakh units, securing nearly 40 percent of the passenger vehicle market. Despite a slight dip in share, year-on-year volume growth remained positive. Models such as Dzire, Wagon R, Ertiga, Swift, Fronx, and Brezza continued to deliver consistent numbers and supported overall dominance.
Mahindra India Passenger Vehicle Market Gains Momentum
Mahindra emerged as the second-largest carmaker in 2025, selling 5.93 lakh units and expanding its share to 13.25 percent.
