To support the project, the company has secured a USD 5 million LEDA grant from the state along with USD 4.6 million in Job Training Incentive Program funding to help recruit and train its future workforce in advanced electric vehicle manufacturing and operations.
In addition, GreenPower qualified for a USD 1.36 million Rural Jobs Tax Credit and USD 3.65 million under the High-Wage Jobs Tax Credit program, reinforcing New Mexico’s strategy to attract high-value clean mobility manufacturing into the state.
