Bugatti FKP Hommage Hypercar Pays Tribute to the Veyron

French marque Bugatti has unveiled the Bugatti FKP Hommage, a one-off hypercar created to honour the legendary Veyron. Introduced in 2005, the Veyron marked Bugatti’s modern rebirth after its acquisition by the Volkswagen Group in 1998 and redefined global benchmarks for speed, power, and exclusivity.
The Bugatti FKP Hommage takes its name from Ferdinand Karl Piëch, the former Volkswagen Group chairman and the visionary force behind the Veyron programme. Bugatti has not disclosed pricing for this exclusive commission, underlining its collector-focused positioning.
Bugatti FKP Hommage exterior design rooted in Veyron heritage
Built on the foundations of the Bugatti Mistral roadster, the Bugatti FKP Hommage is the second creation under Bugatti’s Solitaire coachbuilding programme. Its bespoke bodywork reinterprets the Veyron’s instantly recognisable silhouette while integrating subtle contemporary elements for improved aerodynamics and presence.
Key exterior highlights include:

• Slim LED headlamps with L-shaped daytime running light signatures

• Enlarged grille and wider front air intakes

• Two-tone red-and-black finish, with exposed carbon fibre panels

• 12-spoke chrome wheels measuring 20 inches at the front and 21 inches at the rear

• Signature C-shaped side air intakes and roof-mounted air scoops

At the rear, the Bugatti FKP Hommage mirrors the Veyron’s four-circular-light layout, now executed as LED rings flanking a prominent EB emblem. A wider rear duct, reprofiled diffuser, quad exhaust outlets, and sculpted fenders complete the transformation.

The cabin of the Bugatti FKP Hommage closely follows the Veyron’s design philosophy while introducing modern interfaces. Brown leather upholstery dominates the interior, complemented by EB-embroidered fabric inserts on the seats and door panels for a tailored finish.
Interior details include:

• Silver-accented centre console and three-spoke steering wheel

• Central odometer with flanking digital displays

• Four extruded rotary controls with integrated screens

A standout feature is the octagonal Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon mounted atop the centre console, reinforcing the model’s fusion of haute horology and automotive engineering.
Bugatti FKP Hommage W16 engine and drivetrain performance
Powering the Bugatti FKP Hommage is an extensively uprated version of the Veyron’s iconic 8.0-litre quad-turbocharged W16 engine. In its original form, the engine delivered 1,001hp and 1,250Nm, with later Veyron variants pushing output even higher.
In this latest application, the W16 produces:

• 1,600hp of maximum power

• 1,600Nm of peak torque

Power is transmitted to all four wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, ensuring the Bugatti FKP Hommage delivers performance befitting its status as a modern homage to one of the most influential hypercars ever produced.
