Arbe Ultra HD Radar Selected for Level 4 Autonomous Vehicles in China

On December 29, Arbe Robotics Ltd. announced that a China-based state-owned automaker has selected Arbe Ultra HD Radar for its Level 4 autonomous vehicle development program, marking a significant milestone in advanced radar adoption for highly automated driving systems.
The automaker has chosen Hirain Technologies’ LRR610 radar, which is powered by Arbe Ultra HD Radar chipset technology, for deployment in its next-generation autonomous platform. The radar will be mounted at the front of each vehicle, supporting high-resolution environmental perception required for complex driving scenarios.
Designed for data-intensive applications, Arbe Ultra HD Radar delivers high data throughput that enables advanced AI-based signal processing. This capability allows vehicles to detect objects with greater accuracy, improve classification, and enhance decision-making reliability in dense urban and highway environments.

• Production of the Level 4 autonomous vehicles equipped with Arbe Ultra HD Radar is scheduled to begin in December 2026.

Market entry is expected in 2027, aligning with broader industry timelines for scalable deployment of highly automated driving technologies.
