The EC-06 is driven by an IPMSM (Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) combined with a 4kWh fixed battery pack. This setup enables a certified riding range of 169 kilometres, making the scooter suitable for daily city travel without frequent charging interruptions.

Performance figures highlight Yamaha’s focus on balanced efficiency and responsiveness. The scooter delivers a peak power output of 6.7 kW, maximum torque of 26 Nm, and a top speed of 79 km/h, aligning well with urban traffic conditions and regulated speed requirements.

Charging and ride modes

Charging is designed around convenience, with full charging taking approximately eight hours using a standard home plug-in. The India Yamaha electric scooter offers three riding modes to adapt power delivery and efficiency, along with a Reverse Mode that simplifies manoeuvring in confined parking spaces.

The EC-06 is built on a chassis setup aimed at stability and rider confidence. It features 200 mm disc brakes at both the front and rear, supported by a Combi Brake System (CBS) to enhance braking control during sudden stops in city conditions.
