2026 Proton Saga Anchors Record Monthly Performance
The primary growth driver was the 2026 Proton Saga, which established a new monthly sales record after delivering 10,285 units in January alone. Since its launch in November 2025, the model has accumulated close to 100,000 orders, highlighting its continued appeal among value-focused buyers.Regional Expansion and Sustained Domestic Demand
Momentum for the Proton Saga is expected to remain strong following its February launch in Brunei, alongside a phased international rollout. Beyond the Saga, Proton’s SUV and sedan range posted steady results. January deliveries included 2,429 units of the X50, 672 units of the X70, 1,604 units of the S70, and 252 units of the X90, reflecting balanced demand across multiple segments. At the same time, PRO-NET, Proton’s electric vehicle sub-brand, delivered a total of 3,276 e.MAS vehicles during the month. Of this total, 3,026 units were e.MAS 5 models, establishing a new record for the highest monthly deliveries of a single model under the PRO-NET brand and reinforcing Proton’s growing footprint in the electric mobility space.
