Quick Takeaways
  • BMW MINI Countryman electric SUV delivers up to 501 km range with next-generation efficiency upgrades.
  • The new electric MINI lineup combines longer range, faster charging, and advanced in-cabin technology.
On January 28, BMW unveiled the next-generation BMW MINI Countryman electric SUV, confirming the debut of the MINI Countryman E and the all-wheel-drive MINI Countryman SE All4. Both models are scheduled to enter the market in March 2026, bringing notable improvements in efficiency, technology, and everyday usability.
BMW MINI Countryman Electric SUV Range and Efficiency Upgrades
The MINI Countryman E offers a driving range of up to 501 km, while the MINI Countryman SE All4 delivers up to 467 km. These gains are driven by a new silicon carbide inverter that improves energy conversion efficiency, paired with a larger 65.2 kWh battery designed for extended real-world usability.
  • Additional efficiency improvements include low-friction front wheel bearings that minimize mechanical losses and a refined aerodynamic profile.
With a drag coefficient of 0.26, the vehicle reduces air resistance, supporting longer range without compromising performance.
Charging Performance and Interior Technology
Both variants support fast DC charging, enabling the battery to charge from 10% to 80% in under 30 minutes, making long-distance travel more convenient. The cabin has been optimized for practicality, offering up to 1,450 liters of cargo space when required.
A 24 cm OLED central display anchors the interior, managing infotainment and driver-assistance systems. The setup also supports Level 2 autonomous driving functions, enhancing comfort and safety while maintaining the brand’s familiar driving character.
