The announcement followed a continuous 25-hour livestream drive that covered more than 1,100 km from Penang to Johor Bahru, demonstrating real-world efficiency and endurance.
The China-imported (CBU) model is expected to be priced between MYR 110,000 and MYR 130,000. It integrates intelligent energy management with seamless automatic switching between EV and hybrid modes. Powertrain highlights include a 1.5-litre four-cylinder Dedicated Hybrid Engine, an 11-in-1 Dedicated Hybrid Transmission system, and a lithium iron phosphate battery designed for durability and thermal stability.

The Proton e.MAS 7 PHEV is offered in three variants, each tailored to different usage requirements while maintaining consistent performance and efficiency.
