Quick Takeaways
  • Two AI computing platforms anchor Visteon’s CES 2026 strategy, targeting centralized intelligent cockpits and scalable ADAS architectures.
  • The showcase reinforces Visteon’s push toward AI-driven, software-led cockpit, connectivity, and EV-ready solutions.
On January 5, Visteon Corporation revealed details of its most extensive CES presentation so far, highlighting how the company plans to advance vehicle intelligence at CES 2026. The Visteon CES 2026 Intelligent Cockpit and AI Platforms showcase will feature a complete lineup of production-ready cockpit electronics, AI computing solutions, next-generation displays, and electrification technologies designed to support future vehicle architectures.
At the center of the showcase are two AI computing platforms developed to meet distinct automaker requirements, spanning premium centralized cockpits and scalable driver-assistance systems.
SmartCore HPC for Centralized Intelligent Cockpits
The SmartCore HPC platform represents Visteon’s next-generation high-performance cockpit domain controller, scheduled to launch in 2026. Designed for premium, centralized cockpit architectures, it delivers high compute capability to support immersive multi-display environments and extensive ECU consolidation.
Key capabilities of SmartCore HPC include:
  • Support for up to 14 cameras
  • Multiple high-speed data interfaces
  • Enablement of advanced, AI-driven in-cabin experiences
  • Optional integration with thermal management systems
  • Foundational software designed to simplify deployment

By combining hardware, software, and system integration, the platform provides automakers with a ready foundation for AI-enabled cockpit programs.
AI-ADAS Compute Module Expands cognitoAI Capabilities
Building on the debut of cognitoAI at CES 2025, Visteon will also introduce a new AI-ADAS Compute Module at CES 2026. This solution is designed to support either cockpit intelligence or advanced driver-assistance applications, offering flexibility for vehicle programs currently in development.
The plug-and-play architecture delivers a next-generation intelligence layer that integrates:
  • Proprietary multimodal language models
  • Advanced memory architectures
  • Emotive, AI-driven avatars

With its full-stack, edge-first design, the platform focuses on creating intuitive, human-centric vehicle interactions while maintaining scalability across use cases.
Expanded Digital Cockpit and Electrification Portfolio
In addition to AI computing platforms, the Visteon CES 2026 Intelligent Cockpit and AI Platforms showcase will highlight a broad range of cockpit and electrification technologies, including:
  • Entry-level cockpit solutions for advanced digital experiences
  • Smartphone projection on displays smaller than seven inches
  • Triple-screen and pillar-to-pillar display configurations
  • In-house developed 5G connectivity modules
  • Electrification solutions supporting both 400V and 800V battery architectures

Together, these offerings reflect Visteon’s strategy to deliver scalable, production-ready technologies that address evolving cockpit, connectivity, and electrification demands across vehicle segments.
