Sypris Technologies AMT components supply agreement in North America

On January 20, Sypris Technologies, Inc., a subsidiary of Sypris Solutions, Inc., announced that it has entered into a long-term, sole-source agreement with a global truck OEM to supply critical components for the OEM’s proprietary advanced automated manual transmission used in heavy trucks across North America. Initial deliveries under the program are expected to begin in 2027.

Under the agreement, Sypris Technologies will supply key components that support the performance and reliability requirements of advanced AMT systems designed for heavy-duty applications. These components form an integral part of the transmission architecture and are aligned with the OEM’s long-term powertrain strategy.
