TQ WULING Bingo EV Local Assembly Begins in Malaysia

On January 20, 2026, TQ WULING officially conducted the Bingo EV assembly line-off ceremony at Tan Chong Group’s Segambut facility in Malaysia. The milestone follows the model’s launch announcement in December 2025 and signals the formal start of local completely knocked down production, making the Bingo EV the first electric vehicle to be assembled locally at the plant.

Positioned as an accessible urban electric vehicle, the locally assembled Bingo EV differentiates itself within its segment through a strong safety-oriented design. The model comes equipped with six airbags and incorporates 1,500 MPa ultra-high-tensile steel, enhancing structural rigidity while maintaining a compact footprint suited for city driving.
