Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Czech 2026 Plans Focus on Electrification and Sustainable Production

On January 30, Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Czech announced its 2026 plans, outlining a balanced strategy that combines new product development with long-term investments in modernization and sustainability. The roadmap highlights how the company intends to strengthen production efficiency while advancing its electrification agenda at the Nošovice manufacturing site.

The company confirmed that production of a new model will begin as part of its 2026 program, reinforcing the plant’s role within Hyundai’s European manufacturing network. This addition is expected to support portfolio renewal while maintaining stable output levels aligned with market demand.

Planned production volumes and electrified mix

For 2026, Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Czech plans to manufacture nearly 265,000 vehicles. Electrified models are expected to represent around 50% of total production, reflecting a continued shift toward low-emission mobility solutions and compliance with evolving regulatory requirements across key markets.

Sustainable manufacturing investments at the Nošovice plant

Modernization remains a core focus of the 2026 plans, with Hyundai confirming continued investments aimed at reducing the environmental footprint of its operations. These initiatives are designed to improve energy efficiency while supporting long-term manufacturing resilience.

Renewable energy and EV infrastructure expansion

A key milestone includes the completion of an on-site photovoltaic power plant with a capacity of up to 5 MWp, enhancing the facility’s use of renewable energy. In parallel, the company plans to commission 118 electric vehicle charging points in the first half of the year, strengthening internal and logistical EV readiness.
The Nošovice plant produced a total of 276,175 vehicles in 2025, providing a solid baseline as Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Czech transitions toward a more electrified and sustainable production structure in 2026.
