On January 15, 2026, VinFast announced the launch of four new electric two-wheelers aimed at addressing varied mobility requirements across Vietnam. The lineup includes Evo, Feliz II, and Viper, all designed to operate with battery swapping, alongside the Amio, a compact pedal-assisted scooter that does not require a driver’s license.
To enable large-scale adoption of VinFast electric motorbike models, the company’s infrastructure subsidiary V-Green has completed the installation of 4,500 battery swapping stations nationwide. The network is planned to expand rapidly to 45,000 stations across 34 provinces and cities by the first quarter of 2026, surpassing the current number of fuel stations in the country.
VinFast Electric Motorbike Models with Dual Battery Architecture
The Evo, Feliz II, and Viper are built with dual battery compartments and operate using 1.5 kWh lithium iron phosphate batteries. When fully charged with two batteries, the Evo offers a riding range of up to 165 km, while the Viper and Feliz II deliver a range of up to 156 km under standard conditions.
All three models achieve a maximum speed of 70 km/h. The Evo Lite variant is restricted to below 50 km/h and is classified as license-free. Battery rental pricing starts at VND 175,000 per month, with battery swapping services priced at VND 9,000 per battery.
Pre-Orders and Market Availability
VinFast has opened pre-orders for the Evo model from January 15 to January 29, 2026. The vehicle is priced at VND 19.99 million, excluding the battery, with customer deliveries scheduled to begin in February 2026.
Amio Targets Urban and Student Mobility
The Amio electric scooter is positioned for urban commuters and student users seeking short-distance transportation. It features an 800W motor, delivers a top speed of 30 km/h, and offers a riding range of up to 65 km on a single charge, making it suitable for daily city travel without licensing requirements.
With expanded infrastructure and diverse vehicle options, VinFast electric motorbike models are positioned to accelerate the transition toward electric two-wheelers by combining flexible battery access, competitive pricing, and practical urban-focused performance.
