On February 5, reports confirmed that Dongfeng cars Egypt plans are moving forward through SN Automotive, a joint venture between Al Safi Group and Nasr Automotive Company. SN Automotive stated that the Dongfeng cars Egypt program will begin in the second half of 2026. The rollout will include both locally assembled vehicles and completely built-up units, allowing the company to balance faster market entry with long-term manufacturing localization goals.
