On January 13, Brazil Auto Sales 2025 data released by the dealer body Federacao Nacional da Distribuicao de Veiculos Automotores (Fenabrave) showed a strong finish to the year, with 279,425 vehicles sold in December 2025, reflecting an 8.6 percent rise year over year and a 17.1 percent jump over November as demand strengthened across segments.

For the full year, total vehicle registrations in Brazil reached 2,689,179 units, including passenger cars, light commercial vehicles, trucks, and buses, marking a 2.1 percent increase compared with 2024.
The annual volume was made up of:

  • Light commercial vehicles: 552,931 units
  • Trucks: 110,873 units
  • Buses: 28,844 units

This mix underlines the continued dominance of the passenger car and light commercial segments in the Brazilian market.
