Bengaluru becomes India’s first dual Maybach destination
With this inauguration, Bengaluru becomes the first city in India to host both a dedicated Maybach Lounge and a Maybach Icons of Luxury store under one ecosystem. This development reflects the brand’s growing traction in the country, as India has now entered Mercedes-Maybach’s top five global markets by sales performance.
The retail space is designed to deliver a highly personalized buying journey for ultra-luxury customers. The sales facility spans 10,400 square feet across four levels and offers:
Integrated service capabilities for luxury customers
Alongside retail, the Bengaluru facility features a full-scale service center covering 16,600 square feet. The service setup includes 19 working bays that support preventive maintenance, general mechanical repairs, and body and paint services.
A team of 74 trained professionals operates the service center, which is equipped with a 180 kW fast charger and staffed by certified technicians to ensure high service standards for both internal combustion and electric vehicles.
Maybach Lounge highlights personalization and craftsmanship
The Maybach Lounge follows a shop-in-shop concept and features the Maybach Retail Kit, enabling customers to explore bespoke personalization options from the manufaktur range. These kits are manufactured in Germany and allow detailed consultations focused on materials, finishes, and exclusive design elements tailored to individual preferences.
Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 now locally produced
As part of the Bengaluru launch, Mercedes-Benz India also introduced the Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 SUV, priced at INR 2.75 crores. Notably, this is the first time the model will be manufactured in India, making the country the first market outside the United States to locally produce the ultra-luxury SUV.
Expansion roadmap across India
Mercedes-Benz India has outlined plans to add 20 new luxury touchpoints in 2026, spanning three new cities through a mix of new dealerships and upgrades to existing facilities.
