The test mule confirms meaningful mechanical updates, new electronics, and multiple body styles as Royal Enfield prepares to expand its higher-capacity lineup.
The Royal Enfield Continental GT 750 has now been spotted multiple times during road tests, appearing in both a fully faired version and a naked cafe racer form. As per current understanding, both variants will be offered to customers, with the faired model expected to carry a distinct Continental GT-R 750 nameplate.
In its naked configuration, the motorcycle closely mirrors the design language of the existing Continental GT 650, maintaining the familiar proportions and stance. However, closer inspection reveals notable hardware upgrades that differentiate the larger-capacity model from its smaller sibling.
One of the most visible changes is the introduction of a twin-disc front braking setup, a clear step up from the current arrangement. This is complemented by new Showa suspension components, pointing towards improved braking confidence and more composed handling to match the increase in performance.
Another key update seen on the latest test bike is the adoption of a circular TFT instrument cluster. This display is already in use on other recent Royal Enfield models and brings added functionality and a more premium user interface. While traditionalists may miss the analogue dials, the TFT setup enhances modern usability.
The test mule also features new circular LED turn indicators, which appear to be sourced from Royal Enfield’s extensive accessory range. These subtle updates align with the brand’s strategy of blending retro styling cues with contemporary equipment.
Although the engine casing looks familiar, the powertrain underneath has undergone substantial internal revisions. Along with the increase in displacement to 750cc, the motor is expected to deliver a noticeable performance boost, with peak output estimated in the 55–60hp range, marking a significant jump over the current 650 platform.
The Royal Enfield Continental GT 750 is set to become the first modern 750cc motorcycle from the brand to reach production. Current expectations point towards a launch in the third quarter of the calendar year, positioning it as a key model in Royal Enfield’s global growth strategy.
As for the Himalayan 750, it is unlikely to arrive before the end of the year, with indications suggesting a possible debut at EICMA 2026.
