On January 15, 2026, BMW Group Malaysia officially introduced the BMW Group Malaysia BMW i5 eDrive40 M Sport Pro, making it the company’s first locally assembled (CKD) electric vehicle in Malaysia and across the Asia-Pacific region. The premium electric sedan is priced from MYR 368,800 and, as a CKD EV, benefits from full tax exemption until December 31, 2027.
