Sigrama Mexico Plant Expansion Boosts Industrial Automation Output

On January 28, Sigrama announced the inauguration of its third manufacturing facility in Torreón, Mexico, marking a key milestone in the Sigrama Mexico plant expansion strategy. The project represents an investment of USD 3 million and reflects the company’s continued focus on scaling industrial automation and advanced manufacturing capabilities in North America.

The new Torreón facility strengthens Sigrama’s ability to deliver industrial process engineering solutions with a strong emphasis on automation, technology integration, and productivity enhancement. The expansion is designed to support rising demand from industrial clients seeking reliable, high-quality automation systems across multiple sectors.

The plant is equipped to support advanced automation workflows, enabling faster turnaround times and improved production efficiency. Production growth, employment, and strategic alignment

According to the company’s General Director, the new facility will generate 180 additional jobs, increasing Sigrama’s total workforce from 360 employees. This workforce expansion supports a significant rise in output, with monthly electrical control panel production expected to grow from 200 units to more than 600 units by the end of 2026. This production ramp-up is closely linked to Sigrama’s strategic alliance with Siemens, which continues to play a central role in the company’s growth roadmap. The collaboration underpins technology alignment, process standardization, and the ability to meet complex automation requirements at scale, reinforcing Sigrama’s long-term manufacturing presence in Mexico.
