Quick Takeaways
  • XPeng ultra-fast EV charger Indonesia enters service with 480 kW capacity, marking a major step for high-speed EV charging in the country.
  • The rollout strengthens premium charging infrastructure through collaboration with a local charging network operator.
On February 9, 2026, XPeng announced the commissioning of Indonesia’s first 480 kW ultra-fast charging facility, developed in collaboration with Voltron Indonesia. The charging site became operational on February 3 at Living World Alam Sutera in Jakarta, setting a new benchmark for high-power EV charging in the local market.

High-power charging aligned with next-generation EVs

The XPeng ultra-fast EV charger Indonesia has been designed to fully support the XPeng G6 Pro, the brand’s first model introduced in Indonesia on an 800V electrical architecture. This configuration enables significantly higher charging power while maintaining efficiency and thermal stability during rapid energy transfer.

Optimized for 800V and 5C battery technology

The XPeng G6 Pro uses advanced 5C battery technology, allowing the vehicle to charge from 10% to 80% in under 12 minutes under optimal conditions. Peak charging output reaches approximately 451 kW, closely aligning with the charger’s maximum 480 kW capacity and reducing overall charging downtime.

Nationwide expansion through strategic collaboration

The deployment follows a memorandum of understanding signed on February 3, under which XPeng and Voltron Indonesia agreed to jointly develop high-performance charging infrastructure at selected premium locations across the country. The partnership focuses on ensuring reliability, accessibility, and scalability as EV adoption accelerates. As part of the integration roadmap, more than 400 Voltron charging points will be connected to the XPeng app. The initial phase will provide location-based services, with future updates enabling remote operations, digital payments, and customer incentive programs, further enhancing the charging experience for EV users in Indonesia.
