ECARX ZYT strategic cooperation advances AI-driven cockpit and ADAS integration

ECARX ZYT strategic cooperation was formalized as ECARX (Hubei) Tech Co., Ltd. entered into a strategic agreement with Shenzhen Zhuoyu Technology Co., Ltd. in Shenzhen, marking a significant step toward deeper integration of intelligent cockpit systems and advanced driver assistance technologies. The partnership is designed to align complementary strengths across software, algorithms, and computing platforms.

Scope of the strategic collaboration

Under the agreement, the two companies will merge ECARX’s established technology base in intelligent cockpits, including the Flyme Auto system developed with Meizu, with ZYT’s expertise in advanced driver assistance algorithms and models. This combination aims to create highly integrated, AI-driven cross-domain solutions that support next-generation vehicle architectures.

AI integration in intelligent cockpits

On the intelligent cockpit side, the cooperation focuses on deep integration of large multimodal models and generative AI. These technologies are intended to enhance coordination across human-machine interaction features, enabling more natural, responsive, and context-aware in-vehicle experiences while maintaining system-level efficiency and scalability.

Advancing driver assistance systems

For driver assistance systems, ECARX and ZYT plan to promote the automotive application of VLA models. This effort is positioned to establish a robust computing and software foundation for end-to-end advanced driver assistance solutions, supporting continuous improvement through shared data and coordinated feature development.

Cross-domain platforms and supply chain collaboration

The cooperation extends to cross-domain integration, allowing intelligent cockpit and driver assistance systems to share data and functionalities more effectively. Through supply chain collaboration, the two companies also intend to deliver mass-produced central computing solutions tailored for global automakers, emphasizing reliability and large-scale deployment readiness.

Zenith computing platform as a milestone

As an initial milestone, ECARX and ZYT will co-develop the Zenith computing platform. This includes an AI-driven central computing solution that integrates ECARX’s Cloudpeak cross-domain software platform with ZYT’s advanced driver assistance algorithm model, creating a unified architecture for future vehicle applications. Looking ahead, the partnership is expected to expand into additional product areas, building on the foundational work in intelligent cockpits, advanced driver assistance systems, and central computing to support broader automotive innovation and long-term technology co-creation.
