Quick Takeaways
  • Quantum Energy Limited electric scooter targets last-mile delivery with fast charging and high payload efficiency.
  • The new partnership strengthens India’s commercial EV ecosystem with integrated vehicle and battery engineering.
Quantum Energy Limited has announced a strategic collaboration with EMO Energy to introduce the Quantum Bziness EMO, an electric scooter developed specifically for last-mile delivery and fleet-based operations in India. The model is positioned to address the operational demands of high-usage commercial mobility across urban and semi-urban markets.
The Quantum Energy Limited electric scooter combines in-house vehicle engineering with EMO Energy’s patented liquid-cooled battery system, offering a cost-efficient and high-uptime mobility solution for delivery operators. The integration focuses on durability, faster turnaround times, and consistent performance under real-world operating conditions.
Battery Technology Driving the Quantum Energy Limited Electric Scooter
At the core of the Quantum Energy Limited electric scooter is EMO Energy’s 2 kWh ZenPac battery, designed to deliver a real-world riding range of up to 80 kilometers and a top speed of 50 kilometers per hour. The battery supports rapid charging, reaching operational readiness in approximately 20 minutes using EMO’s Swft fast charger.
According to the companies, the ZenPac battery has accumulated more than 150 million kilometers in live deployments. Performance data indicates around 1.2% degradation at 300 charge cycles and less than 2% degradation beyond 400 cycles, highlighting long-term reliability for fleet use.
Key battery system features include:
  • Active immersion-based liquid cooling
  • Advanced energy management architecture
  • Active balancing battery management system
  • Protection backed by 25 global patents
EMO Energy currently operates over 1,300 fast-charging points across 12 Indian cities, supporting scalable commercial EV deployment. “Scaling last-mile mobility in India requires vehicles and energy systems to be designed together for high utilization and real-world operating conditions,” said Sheetanshu Tyagi, Co-founder and CEO of EMO Energy. He noted that the collaboration brings together purpose-built vehicle platforms with advanced battery technology.
Vehicle Capabilities for Commercial Operations
The Quantum Bziness EMO is powered by a 2,500-watt peak hub motor and rides on 12-inch wheels equipped with a combined braking system. The scooter is engineered to handle demanding delivery cycles while maintaining stability and rider safety.
With a payload capacity of up to 200 kilograms, the scooter is designed to support heavy-duty delivery requirements across e-commerce, logistics, and local distribution use cases. The configuration aligns with the needs of both fleet operators and individual commercial riders.
Chakravarthi C, Managing Director of Quantum Energy Limited, stated that the partnership enhances the fast-charging ecosystem, enabling higher vehicle uptime and quicker turnaround for commercial users. He emphasized that the collaboration supports efficient fleet utilization at scale.
Quantum Energy Limited operates more than 100 service and after-sales touchpoints across India, ensuring nationwide support for its commercial electric two-wheeler portfolio.
Manufacturing Expansion and Deployment Plans
Quantum Energy has commenced operations at a new six-acre manufacturing facility in Maheshwaram. The expansion is planned in two phases to support growing demand for commercial electric scooters.
  • Phase 1 includes 55,000 square feet of built-up area by March 2026, enabling production of 10,000 units per month
  • Phase 2 will expand the facility to 150,000 square feet by mid-2026, with capacity scaling to 20,000 units per month by mid-2027
The companies plan to deploy 10,000 electric scooters over the next 12 months, targeting rapid adoption in India’s last-mile delivery sector. Quantum Energy Limited is an electric two-wheeler manufacturer in India focused on personal and commercial mobility solutions, supported by a nationwide retail and service network. EMO Energy, founded in 2022 by Sheetanshu Tyagi and Rahul Patel, specializes in battery and energy systems for electric vehicles, with its ZEN technology stack designed for fast charging, fireproof safety, and extended lifecycle performance.
