Quick Takeaways
  • Major AED 500 million investment establishes Jafza as the core hub for Legend Holding’s global automotive logistics and assembly operations.
  • Integrated facility combines logistics, assembly, digital systems, and sustainability to support large-scale regional and international growth.
On December 11, Legend Holding Jafza automotive expansion was officially announced as the group revealed a major AED 500 million investment to scale its automotive footprint in Dubai’s Jebel Ali Free Zone. The strategic move positions Jafza as the nucleus of Legend Motors’ regional and global vehicle operations, reinforcing Dubai’s role as a critical automotive logistics hub.
The expansion centers on the development of a one-million-square-foot integrated automotive complex that will function as a regional headquarters, assembly facility, and export base. Designed to support growing international demand, the site will streamline vehicle handling while enabling faster access to more than 100 global markets.
Legend Holding Jafza Automotive Expansion to Anchor Regional Operations
The new facility will become the primary operational base for vehicle storage, inspection, preparation, distribution, and after-sales support. By consolidating these activities within a single ecosystem, Legend Motors aims to enhance operational efficiency, reduce turnaround time, and improve service consistency across markets.
Construction is planned in two clearly defined phases to align capacity with demand growth:
  • Phase one, scheduled for April 2026, will provide parking and processing space for around 5,000 vehicles.
  • Phase two, targeted for completion by January 2028, will expand into a multi-storey structure capable of handling more than 20,000 vehicles at a time.

Technology, Sustainability, and Scale at the Core
Advanced automation will underpin vehicle tracking, inventory control, and logistics management across the complex. Digital systems will allow seamless movement of vehicles from arrival through dispatch, reducing manual intervention and improving accuracy.
Sustainability is embedded into the design through the use of on-site solar power, expected to cut overall energy consumption by up to 15 percent. This aligns the project with regional sustainability goals while lowering long-term operating costs.
Motorcycle Assembly Adds Manufacturing Depth
A key component of the Legend Holding Jafza automotive expansion is a dedicated motorcycle assembly line within the complex. The facility is designed to manufacture up to 10,000 motorcycles annually, covering both electric and conventional models tailored for GCC markets.
This localized assembly capability strengthens supply chain resilience, shortens delivery timelines, and supports the growing demand for electric mobility solutions in the region.
Long-Term Capacity and Global Impact
Once fully operational, the Jafza hub is expected to manage inventory flows of more than 120,000 vehicles per year. The scale of operations reflects Legend Holding Group’s long-term ambition to position itself as a leading automotive distribution and export player connecting manufacturers with global markets.
By combining logistics, assembly, sustainability, and digital operations under one roof, the expansion signals a decisive step toward future-ready automotive infrastructure in the Middle East.
