Quick Takeaways
  • Two technology leaders are aligning silicon and system expertise to speed up production-ready ADAS for next-generation vehicle electronics.
  • The collaboration centers on zonal architectures, Ethernet-based ADAS modules, and advanced radar to improve scalability and perception accuracy.
On January 8, Infineon Technologies and HL Klemove formalized a strategic partnership aimed at accelerating next-generation vehicle electronics through the Infineon HL Klemove ADAS collaboration. The agreement aligns Infineon’s semiconductor and system-level expertise with HL Klemove’s strengths in advanced autonomous driving, targeting scalable, production-ready ADAS solutions.
Infineon HL Klemove ADAS Collaboration for Zonal Architectures
  • The companies will jointly develop zone controller applications built on Infineon microcontrollers and power semiconductors.
HL Klemove will drive application development and system integration, while Infineon will support with semiconductor technologies optimized for performance, safety, and efficiency in zonal vehicle architectures.
Ethernet-Based ADAS Modules and Parking Control Units
Collaboration also extends to front camera modules and an ADAS parking control unit using Infineon’s automotive Ethernet technologies. HL Klemove will lead system and product development, complemented by Infineon’s Ethernet semiconductors and networking know-how to enable high-bandwidth, low-latency data flow.
Radar Innovation and Proof of Concept Commercialization
  • HL Klemove will leverage Infineon’s radar semiconductor portfolio to develop high-resolution and short-range satellite radar, progressing toward commercialization via proof-of-concept validation.
The partnership further includes work on high-resolution imaging radar to enhance perception accuracy across ADAS use cases.
