This material optimization is aimed at reducing energy loss while maintaining the performance characteristics expected from an EV original equipment tire.
Noise optimization and design upgrades
To improve cabin comfort, the company optimized the pattern block layout to enhance quietness during driving. In addition, Sumitomo Rubber adopted its proprietary Nano Black technology for the brand logo, improving visibility while refining the overall tire design for the Nissan Leaf EV B7.
