  • Growing exports and consistent market share gains position Proton for full-year growth and stronger global presence.
On December 11, Proton announced its November performance, reporting Proton November 2025 sales of 13,451 units across domestic and export markets. The results underline steady demand across internal combustion and electric models, reinforcing the brand’s ability to sustain growth in a competitive automotive environment.
From January to November, Proton delivered a total of 143,322 vehicles, reflecting a 3.6 percent year-on-year increase. The company achieved an estimated 18.4 percent market share in November, while the year-to-date figure stood at 19.7 percent, keeping Proton firmly on track to close 2025 with full-year growth.
Proton November 2025 sales driven by strong Saga demand
The Proton Saga remained the backbone of monthly volumes, with 6,931 units delivered in November. Production remained stable despite the transition phase toward the all-new Saga, as output gradually increased at the Tanjong Malim plant. Customer response has been robust, with bookings crossing the 30,000-unit mark.
As manufacturing scales up, the all-new Saga is expected to play a significantly larger role in Proton’s portfolio from 2026 onward. Its continued popularity highlights strong brand loyalty in the entry-level segment and sustained affordability-driven demand.
SUVs and sedans maintain balanced portfolio performance
Beyond the Saga, Proton’s core models continued to post healthy numbers. The Proton X50 recorded 2,127 units, reinforcing its position as one of the brand’s most popular compact SUVs. Meanwhile, the S70 sustained its leadership in the C-segment sedan category with 1,487 units sold.
Additional internal combustion models contributed consistently to overall volumes, demonstrating balanced demand across segments:
  • Proton Persona: 1,050 units
  • Proton X70: 471 units
  • Proton Iriz: 241 units
  • Proton X90: 234 units

This mix reflects Proton’s diversified lineup, catering to both value-focused buyers and customers seeking higher-end offerings.
EV sales momentum strengthens with e.MAS models
Electric vehicle interest gained further traction following the launch of the e.MAS 5. The Proton e.MAS 7 continued to dominate the local EV space, retaining its position as Malaysia’s best-selling electric vehicle with 830 units sold in November alone.
Cumulative sales of the e.MAS 7 reached 7,784 units year to date, highlighting growing consumer confidence in Proton’s electric mobility strategy and signaling a gradual shift toward electrification within its customer base.
Exports rise sharply, supporting global ambitions
Export performance showed notable improvement, with 460 units shipped in November. Year-to-date exports climbed to 5,014 units, marking a 37.3 percent increase compared to the previous year and representing Proton’s highest export volume since 2022.
This sustained momentum keeps the company well positioned to achieve its 6,000-unit export target for 2025, reinforcing Proton’s expanding footprint beyond the domestic market and strengthening its long-term international strategy.
