Quick Takeaways
- VOYAH manufacturing capacity expansion accelerates output readiness for 2026.
- The Yunfeng plant upgrade strengthens smart manufacturing efficiency and delivery capability.
On January 16, VOYAH officially launched a major manufacturing capacity expansion program aimed at 2026, according to information learned by Gasgoo. The initiative targets a production speed of 60 units per hour at the Yunfeng plant, reinforcing VOYAH’s readiness for higher demand and faster order fulfillment.
VOYAH Manufacturing Capacity Expansion Targets Higher Output
The upgrade focuses on core production lines across the Yunfeng facility. Once completed, the combined output of the Golden Factory and Yunfeng plant will reach 90 jobs per hour, translating to one finished vehicle rolling off the assembly line every 40 seconds. This marks a significant step in improving manufacturing throughput and operational efficiency.
Production Growth Drives Capacity Upgrade Strategy
Jiang Tao, General Manager of VOYAH, stated at the launch meeting that the company delivered 150,169 vehicles in 2025, representing an 87% increase compared to the previous year. He emphasized that this manufacturing capacity expansion provides the industrial foundation required to support ambitious sales targets and ensure stable deliveries in 2026.
Smart Manufacturing Ecosystem at Yunfeng Plant
VOYAH’s smart manufacturing ecosystem underpins the entire capacity ramp-up. The Yunfeng plant operates China’s first fully localized new-energy vehicle production line, with complete control over software systems, hardware equipment, and control protocols. This localized approach enhances flexibility, security, and long-term scalability.
Precision Manufacturing Across Key Workshops
In the stamping workshop, a flexible steel–aluminum production line maintains assembly accuracy within 0.1 mm, monitored in real time through millisecond-level blue light measurement systems. The welding workshop applies adaptive spot welding combined with digital monitoring of electrode cap maintenance, ensuring a 100% pass rate for all weld points.
Data-Driven Final Assembly Operations
The general assembly workshop uses Atlas servo tightening tools to manage more than 3,600 tightening points across each vehicle. Torque precision reaches 0.01 N·m, while all critical tightening data remains traceable for up to ten years. This data-driven approach supports consistent quality and long-term reliability as production volumes scale.
Together, these upgrades position VOYAH manufacturing capacity expansion as a key enabler for sustained growth, higher efficiency, and reliable electric vehicle production as the company moves into 2026.
