On August 31, Applied Intuition and HUMAIN, a PIF company, announced a collaboration to deploy thousands of autonomous trucks throughout key logistics corridors in Saudi Arabia by 2030. The companies will establish a foundational framework for autonomous vehicle operations across the Kingdom, with future phases expected to explore applications in robotaxis, ports, mining, and other industries. The initiative is designed to create a broader model for deploying physical AI at national scale while supporting the development of autonomous mobility and logistics capabilities within Saudi Arabia.

AI Infrastructure and Vehicle Intelligence Form Collaboration

The collaboration combines HUMAIN’s AI infrastructure in Saudi Arabia with Applied Intuition’s end-to-end physical AI stack. Applied Intuition’s Self-Driving System, or SDS, together with Vehicle OS and other supporting vehicle-intelligence technologies, will serve as the centerpiece of the collaboration. Applied Intuition is also establishing a local presence for the program, with an office in Riyadh and a team being hired to support deployment directly. The office is opening with trucks already on the ground and is intended to create the high-value jobs needed to deploy, operate, and scale autonomous fleets across the Kingdom.
