- FORVIA CVI solutions debut at IAA Transportation.
- New electronics, seating, hydrogen, interiors expand portfolio.
FORVIA CVI solutions will be presented as part of FORVIA SE’s first unified vision for the commercial vehicle industry at IAA Transportation 2026, scheduled from September 14 to 20. Hella GmbH & Co KGaA, operating as FORVIA HELLA, said the presentation will bring together the group’s five business groups around technologies focused on safety, comfort, lightweighting, sustainable materials, zero-emission mobility and total cost of ownership. The event will position the portfolio around the evolving requirements of commercial vehicle manufacturers and operators, with technologies spanning electronics, seating, hydrogen systems and sustainable interior solutions. Hella GmbH & Co KGaA and FORVIA SE will therefore highlight a broad range of solutions within the company’s commercial vehicle strategy.
The electronics portfolio will feature 77 GHz Radar, an intelligent Power Distribution Module (iPDM), an interior monitoring system, an e-Mirror solution, Intelligent Battery Sensors, a High Voltage DC/DC Converter and the X-in-1 EnergyCore Concept. FORVIA will also present a powered heavy-duty seat and a heavy-duty truck seat incorporating upper backrest adjustment (UBA). Hydrogen technology will include the company’s second-generation Type IV hydrogen cylinders in 350 bar and 700 bar configurations. Next-generation adaptive interior lighting concepts will integrate lighting, communication and safety functions. These technologies will be complemented by modular and sustainable interior solutions using Microject lightweighting material technology, HideLock & MoodPlug modular interfaces, IniCycled by MATERI’ACT post-consumer recycled polypropylene (PCR) material and NAFILean by MATERI’ACT natural fiber-reinforced material.
Under its IGNITE strategy, FORVIA is targeting a substantial expansion of its commercial vehicle industry business through 2030. The company aims to double its CVI sales revenues by 2030, growing the segment from approximately 2% of Group sales into a significant business. Its Seating business has also established a specific commercial vehicle target, seeking to generate around 10% of its revenue from CVI by 2030. The strategy therefore connects the technologies displayed at IAA Transportation 2026 with a longer-term growth objective spanning commercial vehicle electronics, seating, hydrogen, energy management and sustainable interior technologies.
