Huawei and SAIC Motor have introduced a new phase in their electric mobility collaboration with the pre-sales launch of the Huawei SAIC Shangjie Z7 EV and its Z7T variant. The announcement was made during a spring event for Huawei’s Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance, highlighting the growing momentum of China’s premium EV segment. The Shangjie Z7 coupe enters pre-sales at 229,800 yuan, while the Z7T shooting brake is priced at 239,800 yuan. Early buyers are offered incentives of up to 11,000 yuan, aligning with common promotional practices in China’s EV sector. Typically, official launch prices tend to be slightly reduced from pre-sale levels, indicating further competitive pressure ahead.
