EVE Energy Co., Ltd. has introduced two new all-solid-state battery variants under its Longquan series at its Chengdu facility, marking progress in next-generation energy storage solutions. The rollout includes Longquan No. 3 and Longquan No. 4 batteries, designed to address distinct application needs across consumer and power sectors. This development reflects the company’s focus on improving performance, scalability, and real-world usability of solid-state battery technologies.
Consumer-Focused Battery with High Energy Density
The Longquan No. 3 battery is engineered primarily for consumer-oriented applications, emphasizing high volumetric energy density and stable operation under relatively low pressure conditions below 2MPa. This configuration enables compact design advantages while maintaining operational safety and efficiency. The battery is positioned to support devices and systems where space optimization and lightweight performance are critical, aligning with growing demand in advanced electronics and compact energy storage solutions.
High-Capacity Solution for Power Applications
The Longquan No. 4 battery targets power-intensive use cases with a significantly enhanced capacity of 60Ah. It operates under pressures up to 5MPa and has demonstrated early-stage readiness for practical deployment. In 2025, the Chengdu production site completed capacity development for all-solid-state batteries ranging from 10Ah to 60Ah. Earlier developments, such as the Longquan No. 2 battery, have already been deployed in high-end applications including humanoid robotics, low-altitude aviation systems, and artificial intelligence-driven equipment, reinforcing the company’s strategic push into advanced energy storage domains.
