Quick Takeaways
  • V-Green will invest VND 10,000 billion to build 99 ultra-fast EV charging stations across Vietnam.
  • Each station supports 100 EVs simultaneously using renewable energy and battery storage.

In a major push toward sustainable mobility, V-Green Global Charging Station Development JSC has unveiled an ambitious expansion of its high-power EV infrastructure across Vietnam. The initiative, announced on March 17, 2026, focuses on deploying a nationwide ultra-fast charging network designed to support long-distance electric travel while reducing emissions. The project aligns with the country’s broader electrification strategy and clean energy transition goals.

Nationwide rollout of high-capacity charging hubs

The company plans to invest VND 10,000 billion to establish 99 advanced charging stations strategically positioned along key national and provincial highways across 34 provinces. Each site will feature up to 100 charging guns rated at 150 kW, enabling simultaneous charging of 100 electric vehicles within approximately 15 minutes. This infrastructure is designed to eliminate range anxiety and significantly enhance convenience for EV users traveling across regions.

Renewable energy integration and system efficiency

The V-Green Vietnam supercharging network will operate entirely on wind and solar energy, supported by energy storage systems developed by VinFast. This integrated approach ensures stable power supply while maintaining zero-emission operations. By combining renewable generation with battery storage, the network enhances grid resilience and supports sustainable energy utilization, reinforcing Vietnam’s long-term decarbonization roadmap.

Expansion strategy across vehicle segments

Following the deployment of approximately 150,000 charging points in 2025, the company is now shifting its focus toward high-speed charging for passenger cars and battery-swapping solutions for two-wheelers. This dual strategy reflects the evolving mobility landscape in Vietnam, where both electric cars and motorcycles play a critical role in transportation. The expansion is expected to accelerate EV adoption while supporting the nation’s Net Zero target by 2050.
