The SAIC Motor Roewe MG new model release plan outlines several upcoming vehicles scheduled for launch in 2026 as the Roewe brand marks its twentieth anniversary. According to the announcement, Roewe will introduce the Roewe i6 gasoline sedan in April, accompanied by a strategic event on April 21 that will detail the brand’s future direction. The plan also includes new electric and connected vehicle offerings designed to strengthen the company’s portfolio in the rapidly expanding new-energy vehicle market in China.
Upcoming Roewe and MG Vehicle Launches
SAIC’s roadmap highlights both internal combustion and electrified products aimed at different market segments. The Roewe i6 sedan is expected to play a central role in the brand’s anniversary year, while the MG brand will focus more strongly on electrified mobility solutions and technology-focused models.
MG 4X Electric SUV and Future Models
The MG 4X battery electric SUV will adopt the brand’s family-style exterior design and incorporate next-generation technologies. The entry-level version is expected to exceed a driving range of 510 kilometers through the use of solid-state battery technology. In addition, the model integrates a Horizon Robotics large-model system along with a smartphone-vehicle connectivity platform developed jointly with OPPO. Following this launch, MG plans to expand its lineup further with the introduction of the MG 07 new-energy coupe.
