- Lanxess will present new tire additives including Vulkanox 4060 at Tire Technology Expo 2026.
- The additives focus on environmental improvements and enhanced rubber processing performance.
The global tire industry continues to explore new materials that enhance durability, processing efficiency and environmental performance. Lanxess tire additives will be highlighted at Tire Technology Expo 2026 in Hannover, where the specialty chemicals company plans to present several new solutions designed to improve rubber compound processing while addressing sustainability expectations across modern tire manufacturing.
Lanxess Tire Additives Target Processing and Environmental Performance
Among the developments is Vulkanox 4060 (N,N'-dicyclohexyl-1,4-phenylenediamine, CCPD), created as an alternative to antioxidant 6PPD with a more optimized environmental profile. The portfolio also includes Aflux SD, a silica processing agent that improves compound flow behavior and filler dispersion when combined with functionalized polymers. In addition, Rhenodiv BO-3900 Pearls Cool serves as a mineral-free batch-off release agent that disperses in cold water and significantly reduces deposits on plant equipment during tire production.
