On March 9, Invest in Gothenburg announced the opening of the Artifex Systems engineering centre Gothenburg at the Lindholmen Innovation District. The new facility marks a strategic step following the company’s acquisition by Tata AutoComp Systems in India and strengthens engineering capabilities within one of Europe’s leading automotive innovation clusters.
Focus on Next-Generation Interior Systems Development
The Gothenburg engineering centre currently employs 16 specialists who will support the development of advanced interior components. The team will work on cockpit systems, dashboards, door trim systems, and console architectures for global commercial vehicle and passenger car manufacturers, including Volvo, Scania, and Volvo Cars, helping expand the company’s engineering footprint in Sweden.
