BMW Group Financial Performance in 2025
According to the BMW Group 2025 financial results released on March 12, the company reported full-year revenue of EUR 133.5 billion, representing a 6.3% decline compared with 2024. Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) reached EUR 10.2 billion, down 11.5%, while the EBIT margin stood at 7.6%. Net profit for the year totaled EUR 7.4 billion, reflecting a 3.0% decrease as the company faced global economic pressure and changing market dynamics.
Vehicle Deliveries and Electrified Sales Expansion
BMW Group delivered 2,463,681 vehicles worldwide in 2025, marking a slight increase of 0.5% compared with the previous year. The BMW brand accounted for 2,169,739 units, representing a small decline of 1.4%, while the MINI brand recorded strong growth with 288,278 units delivered, up 17.7%. Electrified vehicle deliveries reached 642,071 units, including 442,056 fully electric vehicles, accounting for 17.9% of total sales and showing continued expansion in battery electric mobility.
Looking ahead, the company expects moderate growth opportunities in Europe and the United States during 2026. However, sales in China are projected to remain largely stable compared with the previous year. The company also anticipates that higher tariffs and market headwinds may impact profitability, with the automotive segment’s EBIT margin expected to decline by approximately 1.25 percentage points.
