Quick Takeaways
  • Innox Group will present advanced secondary battery materials and recycling technologies at InterBattery 2026 in Seoul.
  • The showcase includes electro-peelable adhesive, lithium refining innovation, and silicon-based anode precursor materials.

South Korea’s Innox Group is preparing to present its latest secondary battery innovations at InterBattery 2026, taking place from March 11 to March 13 in Seoul Special City. The company will introduce several advanced material technologies designed to improve battery recycling, production efficiency, and next-generation battery performance. The showcase highlights Innox battery materials technology developments across adhesives, lithium processing, and silicon-based anode materials.

Advanced Battery Materials and Recycling Solutions

Innox Advanced Materials Co., Ltd. will highlight an electro-peelable adhesive designed for battery manufacturing and recycling applications. The adhesive maintains strong bonding during operation but can reduce adhesion by more than 95 percent within one minute when a specific electrical stimulus is applied. This allows battery components to be separated cleanly without leaving residue on substrates, significantly improving the efficiency of battery recycling and repair processes while reducing material waste during disassembly.

Next-Generation Lithium and Silicon Material Technologies

Other subsidiaries of Innox Group will also present key material innovations supporting future battery development. Innox Lithium Co., Ltd. plans to introduce a proprietary refining technology capable of producing high-quality lithium hydroxide from lower-grade raw materials while maintaining cost competitiveness. Meanwhile, Innox Ecom Co., Ltd. will showcase silicon powder and silicon oxide precursors, essential ingredients used in next-generation anode materials aimed at improving battery capacity and energy density.
