- The update enables wireless and USB smartphone connectivity for navigation, calls, messaging, and media apps.
The Lucid Gravity Apple CarPlay Android Auto update was announced on March 11 as part of the latest Lucid UX 3.5 software release. The update will begin rolling out to Lucid Gravity owners in North America through an over-the-air deployment. According to Lucid, customers in the Middle East and Europe will also receive the feature update later in March, further expanding the vehicle’s smartphone connectivity capabilities and digital cockpit functionality.
Apple CarPlay Integration Expands Driver Connectivity
Apple CarPlay support allows iPhone users to interact with navigation, communication, and entertainment functions directly from the vehicle interface. On the Lucid Gravity, CarPlay content will appear on the upper-right Clearview Cockpit display, enabling drivers to access directions, respond to messages, make calls, and control music playback. The system supports both wireless and USB connections, provided the iPhone device and installed software version are compatible with Apple CarPlay requirements.
Android Auto Support Added to Lucid Gravity UX
Android smartphone users will gain similar functionality through Android Auto integration. The feature enables drivers to access mapping services, messaging platforms, and media applications directly through the vehicle’s infotainment display. Both wireless and USB connectivity options are supported, ensuring flexibility for different device configurations. With this rollout, Lucid continues enhancing the Gravity’s digital ecosystem through seamless software improvements delivered over the air, reinforcing the company’s strategy of continuously improving the ownership experience.
