The Nexperia IT access dispute surfaced after statements from Nexperia China suggested that restrictions on internal IT systems affected its ability to supply finished semiconductor products. Nexperia B.V., headquartered in the Netherlands, rejected those claims, asserting that the company’s management of IT infrastructure followed established corporate policies and regulatory requirements. Separation of IT Governance Since Q4 2025
The company further revealed that since the fourth quarter of 2025, management at Nexperia China had initiated a process to separate the IT environment of the company’s Chinese entities from the central systems managed by Nexperia B.V. This move placed the Chinese systems outside the Netherlands-based governance, compliance, and cybersecurity framework that oversees the broader global organization, creating the operational context behind the current disagreement.
