Vietnam’s electric vehicle market continued to show strong momentum as VinFast reported 9,903 electric vehicle deliveries in February 2026. The results came during the Lunar New Year period, traditionally the longest national holiday and typically a slower month for vehicle sales. Despite seasonal challenges, the performance allowed the company to maintain its dominant domestic position for the seventeenth consecutive month, highlighting sustained consumer interest and accelerating electrification trends across Vietnam’s automotive sector.
Model Performance Driving VinFast EV Sales
Among the company’s lineup, the VF 3 emerged as the most popular model with 2,274 units delivered during the month. The Limo Green followed with 1,808 units, while the VF 5 secured third position with 1,601 units. Additional contributions came from the VF 6 and VF 7 models, which recorded deliveries of 1,042 units and 807 units respectively, reinforcing the strong demand across multiple segments of the company’s electric vehicle portfolio.
Additional Models Strengthen Overall Deliveries
VinFast also reported deliveries of 1,165 units of its VF MPV 7-seater model, supporting the broader adoption of electric family and mobility vehicles in the Vietnamese market. Other vehicles including the VF 8, VF 9, Minio Green, and EC Van further contributed to the company’s overall February sales performance. According to VinFast, steady demand during the country’s longest holiday period demonstrates increasing consumer confidence and continued momentum for electric vehicle adoption in Vietnam.
