Quick Takeaways
  • Ather Energy announced limited-period discounts and warranty benefits worth up to ₹20,000 on Rizta and 450 Series scooters.
  • Customers purchasing before March 31, 2026 may combine company offers with the PM E-Drive subsidy.

The latest Ather Energy electric scooter offers introduce combined benefits of up to ₹20,000 for customers purchasing the Rizta and 450 Series models in India. The limited-period promotional program is available at Ather Experience Centres until March 31, 2026 and includes a mix of financial discounts and warranty benefits. The move comes at a time when government incentives for electric two-wheelers are approaching expiration, potentially influencing buying decisions across the country’s rapidly expanding electric mobility market.

Discount Structure and Updated Pricing for Rizta and 450 Series

The Ather Energy electric scooter offers include three separate incentives designed to lower purchase costs for buyers. Customers can receive a credit card discount worth ₹10,000, a cash discount of ₹6,500, and an extended components warranty valued at ₹3,500. Following the application of these incentives, the Rizta S is priced at ₹1,04,758 ex-showroom Mumbai, while the 450S is listed at ₹1,13,100 ex-showroom Mumbai during the promotional window. The manufacturer has not clarified whether the final displayed prices incorporate the entire incentive package or only selected components of the offer.

Rizta S Features and Connected Technology Integration

The Rizta S 3.7kWh continues to retain its practical design elements that target family-oriented urban commuting. The scooter offers 34 litres of underseat storage capacity, which can expand by an additional 22 litres when paired with the optional front storage unit known as the Frunk. Comfort and usability are enhanced through a wide seat configuration designed for both rider and pillion occupants, along with a flat and accessible floorboard layout suitable for daily use. The scooter also integrates a 7-inch DeepView display providing turn-by-turn navigation along with connectivity features.

Government Subsidy Deadline and Charging Network Expansion

The announcement coincides with the approaching end of the central government’s PM E-Drive Scheme subsidy for electric two-wheelers, which currently provides an incentive of ₹5,000. The subsidy is scheduled to expire on March 31, 2026, allowing customers who purchase before that deadline to potentially combine the government incentive with the manufacturer’s promotional discounts. Founded in 2013, Ather Energy produces electric scooters under two primary product families—the performance-focused 450 Series and the Rizta lineup introduced in 2024—while also operating the Ather Grid charging network that had expanded to 4,282 chargers across India and an additional 40 installations in Nepal and Sri Lanka as of September 2025.
