Powertrain and Platform Details
The GS3 is built on the GPMA platform, the same architecture used by the GS4 model, providing a balanced structure for performance and comfort. Power comes from a 1.5-liter turbocharged direct-injection gasoline engine producing 170 hp and 25.5 kgfm of torque. The engine is paired with a seven-speed wet dual-clutch transmission that enables acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in about eight seconds and a top speed of 190 km/h. The introduction of the GAC SUV in Brazil strengthens the company’s presence in the region’s compact SUV segment.
