Quick Takeaways
  • Mercedes-Benz introduces a driver-focused cockpit with AMG performance rotary controls.
  • New interior features include a panoramic smart glass roof and dual-display cockpit system.

The Mercedes-Benz AMG GT 4-Door Coupé interior was officially revealed on March 6, highlighting a cockpit built for performance-focused driving. Developed at the Affalterbach plant in Germany, the cabin integrates mechanical controls, digital displays, and advanced materials to enhance driver interaction and vehicle response.

Performance-Oriented Control System

A standout element inside the cabin is the trio of rotary controls positioned on the center console. These controls allow drivers to modify driving dynamics quickly without navigating complex menus.

AMG RACE ENGINEER Integration

The rotary switches operate within the AMG RACE ENGINEER system, which directly connects the controls to key performance parameters. Response control manages how electric motors react to throttle input, agility control alters cornering behavior, and traction control regulates wheel slip through nine selectable levels.

Digital Cockpit and Driver-Centric Layout

The cockpit architecture centers on the driver. A continuous display panel merges a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster with a 14-inch multimedia touchscreen, creating a seamless interface for vehicle information and entertainment.

Round air vents with a distinctive chain-link design are integrated into the dashboard. These vents work with the ambient lighting system, allowing them to illuminate in different colors at night to enhance the cabin atmosphere.

Premium Materials and Advanced Interior Features

The AMG performance steering wheel features a flat-bottom design and incorporates roller and rocker switches for quick function control. Available materials include leather, carbon fiber, and microcut microfiber, while steering paddles allow the driver to adjust energy recuperation levels.

A panoramic glass roof stretches toward the rear window and can transition between transparent and opaque states. The roof is divided into multiple sections, enabling occupants to regulate incoming light. Sport-oriented front seats with enhanced side bolstering provide improved stability during aggressive cornering inside the Mercedes-Benz AMG GT 4-Door Coupé interior.
