Quick Takeaways
  • Astra maintained a dominant share in Indonesia’s car and motorcycle markets in 2025.
  • Astra Otoparts delivered strong profit growth supporting overall earnings stability.

PT Astra International reported steady financial performance in its mobility segment, with the PT Astra International Automotive & Mobility division net profit reaching IDR 11,365 billion for the year ended December 31, 2025. The result was broadly in line with IDR 11,401 billion recorded in 2024, reflecting resilient year-on-year performance despite market pressures.

Resilient performance amid market slowdown

The Automotive & Mobility division maintained stability despite softer conditions in Indonesia’s automotive market. Lower purchasing power in the entry-level segment contributed to a decline in national car sales during the year.

Even as competition intensified across the domestic industry, Astra retained a strong position with approximately 51% share of Indonesia’s passenger car market. This sustained leadership highlights the group’s extensive distribution network, brand portfolio, and established manufacturing ecosystem.

Motorcycle business continues to support earnings

The two-wheeler segment remained a major contributor to overall earnings. PT Astra Honda Motor continued to dominate the national motorcycle market, maintaining a 78% share in 2025 as demand recorded modest growth across Indonesia.

Components division delivers stronger growth

The components business provided an additional boost to divisional performance. PT Astra Otoparts Tbk reported an 18% increase in net profit, reaching IDR 1.8 trillion in 2025.

This improvement was supported by stronger contributions across several product lines, reinforcing the stability of PT Astra International Automotive & Mobility division net profit while strengthening the broader automotive ecosystem supporting Astra’s operations in Indonesia.
