The expansion is also intended to strengthen localized manufacturing by bringing more machining and component production activities into the facility. This includes machining housing parts, manufacturing impellers and bearings, and carrying out welding and balancing operations for rotors. The expanded production setup therefore combines higher output with a broader domestic manufacturing base.

Higher Localization Targets Automotive Supply Chain

The project is expected to reduce the share of imported materials used in production from 90% to 40%. This localization effort is intended to increase the domestic content of turbocharger manufacturing while reducing reliance on imported inputs. The facility will serve customers including Avtodiesel (YaMZ), Tutaev Engine Plant, and Transmashholding, supporting applications across commercial vehicles, trucks, and agricultural machinery.
